Amazing Teachers
Rachel Glisson
Rachel is joining us as our Twigs teacher after being a GOCP parent and board member for 3 years. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Secondary Education and from the University of Missouri with a Master’s in K-12 Gifted Education. She has a wide range of experience implementing Project Based Learning with students of all ages in a traditional school setting as well as developing and leading the Free Forest School Chapter in Indianapolis which focused on outdoor, play-based learning for children birth – 5 years old. Rachel and her husband, Chase, have two children: Emerson and Elizabeth. Rachel enjoys gardening, reading, and exploring the outdoors with her family and their dog, Skye.
Sara Sturm
Sara is joining us as our Sprouts teacher after four years as a GOCP parent. She graduated from Purdue University with a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and is a licensed Speech Pathologist with eight years of experience working at the preschool and elementary levels. Sara and her husband, Josh, have two children: Scarlett and Josie. Sara enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and camping trips with family and friends.
